ASSIGNMENT FOR FRIDAY 10/2/09 !!!!!

HAND-IN OR EMAIL BY WEDNESDAY 10/7/09!
NO LATE HAND-INS!!!
If you do not have WinBreadBoard Google it and download the demo version.
If you cannot unzip it, Google UnZip, download and run it.
UnZip the WinBreadBoard demo.
Click on WinBrd.exe.
On Chip select "AND" 7408.
Wire it with Vcc and Gnd (14 & 7).
Into the first circuit on the chip wire pins 1 & 2 to switches L & K.
Wire pin 3 to output LED +.
Wire Gnd to output LED -.
Switch "ON".
Alternate switches L & K .
With both switches "ON" screen capture and print or screen capture and append to E-mail.
Do the same with "OR".

Course Description
Introduction to D.C. circuit analysis and digital logic design. Topics include: D.C. circuit analysis, fundamental building blocks of modern computers (binary number system, Boolean algebra, logic gates, logic circuits), counters and registers, integrated circuit logic, methods of analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversions, computer organization (CPU and main memory, read-only memory, cache storage, buses, serial and parallel communication), and secondary storage media such as magnetic and optical disks. Four lecture hours per week plus extensive laboratory work. Co-requisite: MAT 202N or equivalent.
